Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years healthcare experience required.
• Experience in a customer service role required.

Responsibilities

• Manages schedules to optimize resources (providers, rooms, equipment).
• Performs schedule maintenance and coordinates care alternatives for patients.
• Communicates with patients and staff to ensure adherence to the treatment plan.
• Assists Practice Manager with data collection and analysis related to physician productivity and resource utilization.
• Facilitates resolution/prevention of billing errors and denials including obtaining pre-certifications or referrals.
• Registers patients and schedules or coordinates appointment scheduling.
• Provides patient education materials as needed.
• Maintains relationships with patients, staff, and external departments.
• Answers inquiries related to practice operations.
• Conducts follow-up with patients to ensure compliance with testing and prescriptions.
