Valley Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact in the physician network. You will ensure a high-quality patient experience through scheduling accuracy, accurate data capture, and friendly service.

This role combines registration, appointment coordination and payment processing within a collaborative ambulatory care team. Requirements include a High School Diploma (Associates preferred) and prior customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Year of relevant work experience is required; an Associate's degree may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients courteously at the front desk.
• Schedule outpatient appointments and manage referrals timely.
• Collect demographic and financial information for registration.
• Process payments and balance cash drawer daily.
• Answer phones promptly and relay messages accurately.
