Job summary

Arizona Urology Specialists is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our Scottsdale practice. You will deliver courteous patient service, support the office, and help manage appointments and registrations with minimal supervision.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Travel to nearby sites may be required; a compassionate, patient-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years front office experience, preferably in medical setting.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and CPT/ICD codes.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive first impression and deliver superb patient service.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate requested tests.
• Collect co-pays and balances at check-in; enter data into the batch.
• Enter patient demographics into Practice Management and EHR.
• Scan driver’s license and insurance cards; upload into the system.
• Obtain referrals, scan into EMR, and link to appointments.
• Reconcile daily payment batches and report to Site Manager.
• Travel to other sites as needed within a reasonable region.
• Assist patients with Phreesia registration.
