Job summary

Arizona Urology Specialists seeks a reliable Point of Contact to support physicians and the office. Responsibilities include triaging patient messages via Keona Health, documenting in EMR, and coordinating treatments and tests with efficiency and care.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, at least 2 years of front-office medical experience, and strong customer service skills. Travel between sites within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of front office experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Preferred: Medical Assistant or prior patient assistance center experience.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, professional first impression for patients.
• Process 40–50 messages per day from the PAC via Keona Health and triage calls as needed.
• Document messages accurately in the EMR for physician disposition.
• Contact patients to provide results, arrange treatment, or discuss status as directed by physicians.
• Schedule office appointments, local procedures injections, labs, and radiology.
• Explain procedures and hand out educational materials related to treatment/diagnosis.
• Assist with FMLA paperwork or related medical record requests.
