Job summary

ALLEVIO CARE, LLC is seeking a Patient Experience Specialist in the Spring, TX area to manage front-office tasks and deliver a welcoming patient experience. You will schedule appointments, handle check-ins, collect payments, and coordinate with providers to maintain an organized, patient-focused office.

The role requires at least one year of front-office medical experience, strong communication, and the ability to explain insurance benefits.

Qualifications

One year or more of medical front office experience.
Understanding of medical insurance benefits and ability to explain benefits to patients.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Ability to work quickly with high accuracy.
Friendly and welcoming demeanor.
Ability to collect money due from patients.
Understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding and modifiers.
Clear communication by telephone, in writing and in person.
Willingness to take on any task assigned.
Dedication to integrity, accountability and respect.

Responsibilities

Schedule appointments and surgeries; answer phones; send reminders and follow-ups.
Check in patients and collect copays; manage payments and receipts.
Enter patient demographics and insurance information accurately.
Print and handle documents; process referrals and medical records.
Educate patients about products or services and provide after-care instructions.
Support physicians and other office staff to ensure smooth operations.
