Job summary

Advocate Christ Medical Center seeks a full-time Guest Services representative to support patients, families and visitors. You will help establish service standards, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with hospital departments to ensure a positive patient experience.

The role requires a high school diploma and 2 years of customer service experience in a medical setting or equivalent. CPR and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 2 years hospital experience in a high-contact customer service area or 2 years of comparable customer service experience.
• Some knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Valid Driver's License; CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing customer service standards policies and procedures.
• Serve as a resource for hospital associates and guests on customer service matters.
• Develop customer service excellence standards that meet or exceed expectations.
• Partner with the Guest Services team and other departments to meet customer needs.
• Provide information to guests, associates and partners and coordinate with external services as needed.
• Attend seminars and implement action plans to improve performance.
