Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or higher required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Maintain basic knowledge of complete procedure process functions and troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice.
• Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain collaborative relationships with internal care providers to ensure patient outcomes.
• Greet patients and visitors, make eye contact, introduce yourself and guide them.
• Complete patient communication forms and establish post-discharge communication modes.
• Facilitate transport to the appropriate department.
• Serve as a model of service excellence with courtesy, compassion and responsiveness to all customers.
• Assist customers by acting as a resource with directions, services, and information.
• Display focus on essential and specialty functions of the job at a high level.
• Achieve thoroughness and accuracy in essential tasks.
• Adhere to dress code requirements.
• Conduct standard screening for patients and visitors.
• Assure adherence to current visitor policies.
• Register visitors in VisiTrak tracking program.
• Round in Lobby to meet patient and visitor needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
