Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is seeking a friendly Patient Guest Services Assistant to welcome patients, families and visitors and guide them through the hospital with warmth and empathy.

This role supports front-door operations, wayfinding, non-medical transport, and coordinating with care teams to enhance the patient experience. Shifts are 8 hours, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM, with flexibility on start/end times and opportunities for advancement within the organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise judgment to triage inquiries.
• Basic computer skills (Epic, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet and assist patients, guests and colleagues; provide directions, wheelchairs and non-medical transport.
• Deliver empathetic care and communicate using HEART models to set expectations.
• Facilitate communication among patients, families, caregivers and providers.
• Respond to concerns and provide service recovery as needed.
• Escalate unresolved issues to department leadership.
• Round in hospital lobbies, clinics and entrances to assist visitors.
• Welcome patients and visitors at front entrances as needed.
• Engage with patients about their experience and other needs beyond the visit.
