Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Guest Services Representative who will cover inpatient and outpatient Concierge units and information services areas, providing high-level customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff. You will greet guests, assess needs, and direct them appropriately to services, while supporting accommodations and access to chaplain and social services.

• Education: High School Degree or Equivalent.
• Work Experience: 0-6 months.

Responsibilities

• Effectively assists patients in inpatient and outpatient Concierge units and information services areas.
• Professionally greets visitors and patients upon arrival and directs them accordingly.
• Meets key performance metrics and complies with policies and processes.
• Provides support for hotel accommodations and access to Chaplin and community social services.
• Acts as liaison between patients, family members, visitors, guests and the clinical team.
