Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Facilitates resolution to expressed concerns, answer questions, and honor requests or commendations.
• Responds to patient suggestions and compliments; provides positive reinforcement to involved staff.
• Serves as liaison between patients, families, hospital and medical staff.
• Advocates for patients' rights.
• Promotes patient satisfaction.
• Provides information about organizational services and resources to patients.
• Fosters collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family.
• Uses interpersonal and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve concerns.
• Documents concerns and escalates appropriately to expedite resolution.
• Maintains database tracking of complaints, grievances, and compliments.
• Participates in committees or process-improvement teams to improve patient experience.
