Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking Ambassadors to support the Welcome initiative on the TMC Campus. Ambassadors greet patients and visitors, guide them to their destinations, and perform health screenings to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

You will maintain a professional demeanor while delivering information and assistance, contributing to a positive patient and visitor experience during fast-paced shifts.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree in Communications or related field.
• Preferred: Healthcare experience.
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledges and greets patients and visitors and performs health screening.
• Accurately provides information and instruction, pertaining to all hospital campus to patients, visitors and staff.
• Maintains a highly professional and positive attitude while dealing with customers and peers and performs multiple tasks as screener, greeter, information desk, in a fast-paced environment.
• Other duties assigned.
