Job summary

University Health is seeking a Patient Relations Coordinator to join our team. This role serves as the liaison between patients, patient representatives, University Health System staff and the community to advocate for patients’ rights and enhance the patient experience.

You will coordinate patient services, provide information and follow up, and respond to concerns and unmet needs with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, health education or related field of study is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between patients, patient representatives, staff and the community regarding patients’ rights and advocacy.
• Provide a channel through which patients or patient’s family can seek solutions to problems, concerns and/or unmet needs.
• Coordinate patient services and provide information and follow up.
