Job summary

MarinGeneral Hospital dba MarinHealth Medical Center is seeking a Patient Ambassador to create a positive first impression for patients and visitors. You will be the initial point of contact, advocate for patient needs, and coordinate with resources to fulfill special requirements.

Responsibilities include assisting with wayfinding, escort services, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. The role supports the Patient Experience team and involves strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a Customer Service related position.
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• IAMTAC within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient in English; Spanish a plus.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Essential: Initial point of contact for patients and visitors; greeting, badging, information.
• Assist with Wayfinding and navigation within Marin General Hospital and offsite facilities.
• Coordinate with mobility equipment, escorts and valet services as needed.
• Maintain privacy and HIPAA compliance in handling patient information.
• Support Patient Experience team with administrative tasks and follow-up as needed.
