Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Service Excellence Ambassador to deliver exceptional patient- and family-centered service. You will coordinate information, advocate for timely admissions, and help patients, families and visitors navigate the hospital environment with confidentiality and care.

The role emphasizes communication between patients, families and staff, problem resolution, and ensuring smooth operation of information desks and lobbies during nightly shifts. 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Minimum two years of experience in a consumer advocacy or service role.
• Knowledge of conflict resolution, interpersonal communication, win-win negotiations, medical terminology, diversity training.
• Night shift, 40 hours per week, Department Customer Experience Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, visitors and staff while maintaining confidentiality.
• Facilitate communication among patient, family and hospital staff and advocate to expedite admissions and resolve delays.
• Address concerns and complaints, escalate when necessary, and assist with directions and escorting visitors.
• Answer multi-line phone, Direct callers and oversee information desks and lobbies for cleanliness and order.
