Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Experience Ambassador to advocate for patients and visitors, relay feedback to care teams, and support families in crisis. The role emphasizes strong communication, service recovery, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Hours are 10:00am–6:30pm, with duties spanning call-center support, notary services, and facilitating patient flow. A high school diploma and 3–4 years in customer-facing roles are required, with bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3-4 years experience in a customer-oriented position.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, visible environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Highly resourceful, efficient, and organized with excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, problem-solving, and service recovery skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively rounds on patients using technology to capture feedback about their experience.
• Serves as a liaison between patients/visitors and physicians and team members to enhance communication.
• Addresses patient/visitor concerns prior to discharge using de-escalation and service recovery techniques.
• Directs conference participants to the correct conference area and assists guests requesting help.
• Enforces visiting policies and assists security with lobby situations as needed.
• Performs call center functions and supports notary services and documentation as required.
