Job summary

Care Resource Community Health Centers, Inc. seeks a Client Engagement Specialist to handle high volumes of patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and coordinate care across four locations.

You will verify insurance, document interactions, and maintain accurate demographics while delivering courteous service. Candidates should have healthcare customer-service experience, proficiency with Mitel and NextGen EHR, and strong communication and organizational skills to support multiple departments

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service, call centers, or receptionist/scheduling in healthcare.
• Proficient in computer systems including Mitel, NextGen EHR, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answers the telephone promptly in a courteous and professional manner.
• Retrieves and returns dropped calls; clears inboxes by end of each workday.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of all services and resources offered at the health center.
• Resolves routine questions/concerns following established guidelines and scripts.
• Logs inquiries and tracks status in computer systems; monitors follow-up needs.
• Documents all customer interactions and updates demographic information.
• Verifies insurance information to schedule appointments when applicable.
• Schedules and reschedules appointments and coordinates interpreters for translations.
