Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE (DIETARY AIDE) at Roper St Francis Berkeley in Moncks Corner, SC. The role offers a full-time schedule with three 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and a pay range of $17.50–$18.00 per hour.

The patient dining team supports patient meals, menu selections, and timely delivery while upholding safety and quality standards. Strong communication and nutrition awareness are valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu alternatives for allergies, cultural or religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to each patient’s selection and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Adhere to regulator agency standards and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for handling food and sanitation.
