Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) on a full-time basis at MUSC Health Orangeburg, SC. You will assist patients with meals, ensure dietary requirements are met, and work with the culinary and nursing teams to deliver accurate trays on schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing for dietary needs.
• Collaborate with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu alternatives for allergies, dietary restrictions, or cultural preferences.
• Assemble and retrieve patient meals accurately and on time.
• Follow HIPAA, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines; adhere to safety and confidentiality policies.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets as required.
• Document issues and communicate with staff per department procedures.
