Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring for a Patient Services Lead at THOP East Campus in El Paso, TX. The role oversees patient dining services, trains associates, and ensures staff coverage for the Patient Dining Program. Strong customer service, food safety, and computer skills are required.

As a member of Morrison Healthcare, you will contribute to a culture of care and compliance, working with nursing and culinary teams to meet nutritional needs and patient preferences.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, and operation and maintenance instructions.
• Aptitude for effectively operating hospital’s admission, discharge and transfer (ADT) system, and other computer-based systems, which manage patient care records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient meal service and special requests for the Patient Dining Program.
• Supervise Patient Dining Associates to ensure menu selections, tray assembly, delivery, and pick-up.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, sensitivities, or cultural/religious preferences.
• Communicate patient needs and problems to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients with restricted diets and calorie counts.
