Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is hiring to support patient meal services and improve dining experiences. You will guide patients through meal selection, verify orders, and deliver trays per diet guidelines, while maintaining high service standards.

The role requires staying active on shift, strong communication with patients and staff, and ability to use devices like iPad and ToughBook in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate in English (Required).
• Ability to interact with customers in person and over the phone in a professional manner.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Proficient with common software/hardware (e.g., iPad, ToughBook).

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the meal ordering process using a computerized diet office system.
• Verify patient identifiers and ensure tray accuracy before delivery.
• Round on patients and nursing staff to resolve foodservice concerns and improve satisfaction.
• Assemble and deliver trays per therapeutic diet guidelines and presentation standards.
• Perform duties including long walking/standing and 12-hour shifts while maintaining cleanliness and safety.
