Job summary

Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, FL seeks an Ambassador for Food and Nutrition Services to obtain patient meal selections, assemble and deliver trays, and attend to patient food needs with exceptional service. You will follow AIDET+ and safety guidelines, communicate with care partners, and ensure accurate orders and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes dietary accuracy, customer service, and collaboration with nursing and food service teams to maintain patient satisfaction throughout

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 0 to < 1 year of work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to obtain patient menu selections and deliver trays.

Responsibilities

• Visits patients to obtain meal orders using iPad and Breadbox program; follow up with missed patients.
• Adheres to AIDET+ and 4 P's guidelines in patient interactions.
• Provide special orders list to cooks and prepare cold items for meal service.
• Assemble patient trays according to prescribed diet and orders; ensure accuracy and high-risk trays.
• Deliver patient trays on schedule and maintain temperatures.
• Use a 3 patient identifier to ensure correct delivery.
• Maintain patient satisfaction on assigned floors; assist with daily huddles.
