Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates at Fort Mill Medical Center. Full-time and part-time roles involve assisting patients with meal selections, assembling and delivering trays, and ensuring accuracy and safety in a healthcare environment.

The role requires the ability to read and communicate in English, basic math and computer skills, and the capacity to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural or religious preferences and special requests.
• Assemble meals per patient selections and retrieve trays from rooms on time.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and HIPAA policies; maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets and communicate issues promptly.
