Job summary

UPMC Williamsport is seeking a Food Service Host to join our Food & Nutrition Services team. In this role, you'll interact directly with patients to help ensure they receive nutritious meals and an outstanding dining experience during their hospital stay.

This full-time position offers consistent shifts between 5:00am and 8:30pm, with 40 hours per week and every other weekend and holiday required. High school students are not being considered at this time.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, hospitality, retail, or another customer-facing environment.
• Ability to deliver friendly, attentive service to patients.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with meal selection and menu collection.
• Deliver and serve meals with excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work areas.
• Follow food safety and infection prevention standards.
• Verify patient identification during meal service.
