• We are hiring immediately for full-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATE/DIETARY AIDE positions.
• Location: Spartanburg Regional Medical Center - 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; days and hours may vary. Two days on, two days off. Split shift on Monday. Rotating weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior patient dining or dietary aide experience preferred. Willing to train!
• Pay Range: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on healthcare units, helping patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They ensure meals are accurate, timely, and meet safety and satisfaction standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu choices, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
• Coordinate with caregivers and culinary staff for special dietary needs and preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays.
• Comply with regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on special diets.
• Communicate concerns promptly to appropriate staff.
• Complete required reports and adhere to sanitation regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
