• Location: Prisma Health Greer - 830 South Buncombe Road, Greer, SC 29650. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Part-time; Days may vary, 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm. More details upon interview.

• Pay Range: $17.00 to $22.29 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on healthcare units, assisting patients with menu selections, meal assembly, delivery, and tray pickup. They are vital to patient safety and satisfaction, ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at the correct temperature.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in understanding menu options and collaborate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Coordinate with culinary staff to accommodate food allergies, sensitivities, and cultural preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays in a timely manner.
• Comply with regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and sanitation.
• Support dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets.
• Report issues promptly and complete required documentation.
• Adhere to health, sanitation, and infection control policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
