Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on healthcare units, helping patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They play a vital role in patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at the right temperature.

• Assist patients with menu understanding and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Work with the culinary team to accommodate allergies, sensitivities, and preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays efficiently.
• Follow regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and infection control policies.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on special diets.
• Communicate concerns promptly and complete required reports.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds and maneuver carts.
