• We have openings for part & full-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATES (DIETARY AIDE) positions.
• Location: Cleveland Clinic - Marymount - 12300 McCracken Road, Garfield Heights, OH 44125. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Shifts will vary, including weekends and holidays. Shifts: 6am-2pm, 12pm-8pm, and 3/4pm-8/9pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Hospitality or customer service experience preferred. Dietary Aide experience a plus.
• Pay Range: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on healthcare units, assisting with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction by delivering accurate and timely meals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu choices and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional needs.
• Determine menu options considering allergies, cultural, religious, and personal preferences.
• Manage tray tickets, assemble meals, and retrieve trays at scheduled times.
• Comply with regulatory standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and infection control policies.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on special diets or calorie counts.
• Communicate patient concerns promptly to appropriate staff.
• Complete required reports and adhere to sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
