• We have openings for part-time PATIENT DINING ASSOCIATES (DIETARY AIDE) positions.
• Location: Cleveland Clinic - Mentor - 8300 Norton Parkway, Mentor, OH 44060. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Shifts will vary, including some weekends and holidays. More details upon interview. Shifts range from 7:00am to 2:00pm.
• Requirement: Hospitality or customer service experience preferred. Dietary Aide experience a plus.
• Pay Range: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Patient Dining Associates work on hospital units, helping patients with menu selections, assembling, delivering, and retrieving meal trays. They are vital to patient safety and satisfaction by ensuring meals are accurate, timely, and at the correct temperature.

Essential Duties:

• Assist patients with menu choices, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
• Coordinate with caregivers and culinary staff for special dietary needs and preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals accurately and promptly.
• Comply with regulatory standards, including HIPAA, and maintain confidentiality.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food handling and cleanliness.
• Assist dietitians with monitoring patients on special diets.
• Communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required reports and adhere to sanitation and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food carts.
