Morrison Healthcare in New Braunfels, TX is hiring for the Patient Dining Associate/Dietary Aide role. This position covers full-time and part-time schedules on site, with duties including helping patients with menu selections, assembling and delivering meals, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are followed.

Prior patient dining or dietary aide experience and strong customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and maneuver/push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and HIPAA policies; maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Assist dietitians and monitor patients on special diets as needed.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
