Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, TX. You’ll help patients choose meals, assemble and deliver trays, and ensure nutrition guidelines are followed.

Prior food service and patient care experience is required, with strong teamwork and communication essential. The role offers weekday and weekend shifts, a clear path for growth, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders comply with nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural/religious preferences, or additional selections.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection; retrieve trays from patient rooms at assigned times.
• Complies with regulatory standards, HIPAA policies, and confidentiality requirements.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and cleaning work stations.
• Follow facility infection control policies and procedures.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients with restricted or modified diets.
• Communicate problems or concerns with patients to appropriate personnel timely.
• Complete all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in policies and procedures.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
