Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring an Associate for Patient Dining (Dietary Aide) on a full-time basis at MHHS Woodlands Medical Center, Shenandoah, TX. Shifts vary; weekend rotation required. Prior healthcare dietary experience is preferred.

Expected duties include helping patients select meals, assembling and delivering trays, and supporting dietary staff to meet nutrition and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and push/move carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients by helping with menu selections and coordinating with nursing.
• Prepare, assemble and deliver meals to patient rooms on schedule.
• Ensure meals meet nutritional requirements and dietary restrictions.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain sanitation.
• Document results and communicate issues to the team.
