Job summary

Qualifications
- Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
- Basic computer and mathematical skills.
- Must be able to lift or move up to 100 pounds and push carts.
Responsibilities
- Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional requirements.
- Determine menu alternatives for allergies, preferences, and dietary needs.
- Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on schedule.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations and HIPAA policies.
- Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Support dietitians in patient monitoring and dietary management.
- Document issues and communicate with appropriate staff.
