Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at Ochsner Northshore Complex in Lacombe, LA. Youll assist with menu selections, assemble and deliver meal trays, and support patient dining on assigned units.

The role requires reliable team members with customer service, food service, and healthcare exposure preferred. Schedule is 6:00 am–7:00 pm; pay range $15–$17 per hour; full benefits available.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand menu selections and collaborate with nursing on dietary needs.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, cultural, ethnic, or religious preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to patient selections.
• Comply with regulatory standards and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining work areas.
• Assist dietitians and monitor patients on restricted diets as needed.
• Communicate issues to appropriate staff promptly.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports per policy.
