Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) for Danbury Hospital. You will assist patients with menu choices, assemble and deliver trays, and help ensure meals meet timing and nutritional needs.

Positions are available as full-time and part-time with rotating weekends and some holidays. Prior food service or healthcare experience is preferred; pay ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour. Online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to meet nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to offer menu alternatives for allergies, dietary restrictions, or cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on time and at the right temperature.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and HIPAA policies; maintain sanitation and safety standards.
