Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) in Seneca, SC. Positions available for full-time and part-time schedules with shifts from 6:45 am–3:00 pm and 12:30 pm–8:30 pm; weekends required. Previous food service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders comply with their nutritional requirements or restrictions.
• Determine menu alternatives for patients with allergies, sensitivities, or cultural/religious preferences.
• Assemble and deliver meals; retrieve trays from patient rooms at scheduled times.
• Complies with regulatory agency standards, including HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining clean work stations.
• Assist dietitians with patients on special diets and communicate issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in Morrison policies.
• Adhere to health and sanitation regulations.
