Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) at CHRISTUS Spohn Shoreline Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX. This full-time position features 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and some holidays; pay ranges from $15.00 to $15.25 per hour.

You will help patients with menu selections, assemble and deliver meals, and ensure accuracy and timeliness while complying with HIPAA and HACCP guidelines. Online applications are accepted.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and work with nursing to ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Determine menu alternatives for allergies, sensitivities, and dietary preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s selection; retrieve trays on schedule.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and sanitize work stations and trays.
• Assist dietitians in monitoring patients on restricted diets.
