Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator – Plastic Surgery Practice (Full-Time)

Location: South Tampa

Hours:

  • Mon, Wed, Thu: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Tue: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Fri: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM

We’re looking for a dedicated, long-term team member who is passionate about building a career—not just finding a job. This role involves cosmetic surgery sales, patient coordination, and front desk responsibilities.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be a key liaison between our surgeons and patients. From initial inquiry to post-procedure follow-ups, you’ll guide patients through their aesthetic journey with compassion, clarity, and professionalism.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Serve as the primary contact for all cosmetic patients, providing exceptional service at every touchpoint.
  • Educate and guide patients through consultations (in-office and virtual), procedures, pre/post-op instructions, and financial options.
  • Manage patient scheduling to optimize provider time and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain EMR (Nextech experience is a plus) and ensure confidentiality of sensitive patient data.
  • Answer multi-line phone system and respond promptly to patient inquiries via phone and email.
  • Coordinate cosmetic seminars and patient marketing efforts.
  • Support social media efforts by helping keep provider and practice profiles up to date.
  • Explain benefits of Med Spa treatments and products, and how they complement surgical procedures.
  • Assist with front desk operations including greeting patients, managing appointments, handling correspondence, and maintaining the lobby.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in sales and/or medical office administration (experience in plastic surgery or dermatology is highly preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • EMR experience required (Nextech a plus).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), email, and internet applications.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Professional, articulate, and polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently under pressure.
  • Positive, outgoing personality with a team-player attitude.
  • Understanding of cosmetic procedures and ability to confidently discuss them with patients.
  • Comfort discussing financial options and creating payment plans.
  • Creative thinking to help grow our cosmetic practice and generate referrals.
