Colorado Springs Cardiology is seeking a Patient Services Representative to create a positive patient experience. You will welcome patients, complete admissions and scheduling, collect payments, and ensure accurate EMR entries while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires 1–2 years in a medical office, EMR/MS Office proficiency, and strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of experience in a medical office, admissions, or scheduling role.
• Experience with EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to travel between practice sites as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage confidential patient information.
• Strong manual dexterity and proficiency in operating office equipment including fax machines.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and manage admissions and scheduling processes.
• Complete and audit patient intake forms and verify demographics and insurance.
• Enter and update patient data in the EMR accurately.
• Collect time-of-service payments and reconcile daily transactions.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals.
• Handle high volume calls with professionalism and accuracy.
• Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain patient records and confidentiality per HIPAA.
