Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person or by phone and update insurance/demographics.
• Verify insurance and ensure physician accepts the insurance presented.
• Communicate with staff to ensure patient readiness and availability of medical records.
• Process HIPAA-related paperwork and other forms as needed.
• Collect referrals or insurance authorizations as required.
• Monitor waiting room and communicate wait times to patients.
