Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of patient scheduling/registration in a healthcare setting.
• Strong customer service and patient-centered focus in all situations.
• Experience with medical insurance or managed care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule appointments for multiple locations and services.
• Review medical records, ensure documents are ready for evaluation.
• Interface with nursing staff for preauthorization when required.
• Monitor cancellations and use wait lists to improve access to clinics.
• Provide quality customer service to patients, families, staff and clinicians.
• Schedule or reschedule initial consults/appointments as needed.
