Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) seeks a Guest Support Services representative to greet patients and visitors, answer phones, and provide accurate information at the Information desks and over the hospital paging system. You will use EPIC and other systems to route inquiries, issue visitor passes, and uphold patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.

The role is full-time, Monday through Friday 10am–6:30pm with rotating holidays, aiming for courteous service and smooth operations in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a customer service or front desk role.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with patients, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephones and greets patients and visitors in a professional manner.
• Transfers calls and provides information or directs to appropriate department.
• Issues visitor passes and assists with locating patient information in the computer system.
