CareNow, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring a Patient Representative to join our urgent care team. You will check-in patients, answer calls, verify insurance and ensure accurate demographics and paperwork.

The role supports the occupational client’s preferences and follows established procedures, with daily balance checks after each shift. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of clinical experience (preferred), can obtain BLS within 30 days, and demonstrate strong customer service skills,

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner and follows Web Check-in procedures.
• Answers clinic phone calls and directs inquiries as needed.
• Verifies insurance in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensures occupational client’s preference card is followed and procedures are adhered to.
• Reviews patient paperwork for completeness and collects insurance/demographic information.
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift and documents all payment forms.
