Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care, part of HCA Healthcare, invites you to join as a Patient Care Representative. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handle check-in, answer calls, and verify insurance while delivering compassionate service in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients in a timely manner and follow Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer clinic phone calls and provide information or refer questions as needed.
• Verify insurance in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure the occupational client’s preference card and procedures are followed.
• Review patient paperwork for completeness and collect insurance/demographic information.
• Complete the Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, documenting all payments.
