Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Registers patients for appointments by collecting and verifying demographics, insurance information, and other essential details.
• Greets, directs, and assists patients with questions to support prompt, courteous patient care.
• Answers phone to schedule appointments, take messages, and route inquiries per policies.
• Prepares records for visits by reviewing EMR/chart contents to accelerate care.
• Handles insurance inquiries and completes paperwork for timely exam charges submission.
• Distributes forms, letters, and mail accurately.
• Ensures age-appropriate care and communication as outlined in Population Specific Criteria.
