Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s CareNow urgent care is seeking a Patient Representative to support patient intake and coordination at our Kansas clinic. The role emphasizes accurate insurance verification, front-desk check-in, and reliable phone support to ensure smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of clinical experience, BLS within 30 days, and strong customer service skills, with comfort using multiple computer systems. This position is in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients in a timely manner and follow Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer clinic phone calls and provide information or direct questions.
• Verify insurance in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow the occupational client’s preference card and procedures.
• Review patient paperwork for completeness and collect insurance/demographic information.
• Complete Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, documenting all payment forms.
