Job summary

CareNow in Missouri is seeking a Patient Representative PRN to manage patient check-in, answer calls, verify insurance, and collect essential demographic information. The role supports occupational clinics and adheres to preference cards and procedures.

You will ensure complete paperwork, balance daily payments, and contribute to efficient clinic operations in a fast-paced urgent-care setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner and follows Web Check-in procedures.
• Answers clinic phone lines and routes questions as needed.
• Verifies insurance information accurately and timely.
• Ensures following occupation procedures and preference cards.
• Reviews patient paperwork for completeness and collects demographics/insurance data.
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift and documents payments.
