Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking a Telephone Operator to ensure courteous, efficient communication between the public, patients and their families, and our staff and physicians in a busy hospital environment.

The role supports multiple office systems and upholds our culture of service excellence. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 2–5 years of related experience, with flexibility and poise under stress preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2–5 years of related experience recommended.
• Some college education in related field desirable.
• Flexibility, self-motivation, and ability to work under stress preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, efficient communication between the public, patients and their families, and staff and physicians.
• Support all areas under Business Office Systems with various duties as outlined in the job-specific duties.
• Maintain service-excellence standards in interaction with every customer group.
