Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Part-Time Patient Check-In Representative to greet patients, perform health screenings, verify demographics and insurance, and ensure accurate registration in the Practice Management System.

The role requires about 1+ years of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and basic computer proficiency. The position supports Primary Care at our Norfolk, MA site with possible coverage at other locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of customer service or patient-facing experience.
• Beginner level computer proficiency.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and perform basic health screenings.
• Verify demographics and insurance in the Practice Management System.
• Collect payments and post to accounts; assist with co-pays and balances.
• Enter referral and appointment information and ensure registrations are complete.
• Assist with check-in processes and direct patients per service line standards.
• Coordinate with Central Registration for follow-up on registrations or insurance issues.
• Maintain accurate patient records and support billing and compliance needs.
• Provide information to patients and arrange interpreter services when needed.
