Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency.
• Preferred: 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Preferred: working knowledge of check-in or registration procedures; cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and perform health screening at check-in.
• Verify demographics and insurance information in the Practice Management System.
• Collect payments and post to patient accounts; balance cash at end of day.
• Ensure all required forms are completed and signed.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and coordinate referrals or interpreter services as needed.
• Balance daily deposits and support cash-handling procedures.
