Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical-assistant program or certificate preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in a medical office, preferably primary care or patient-facing.
• Proficiency with EHR systems, scheduling tools, and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-ins/outs, verify insurance and demographics, and process payments.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments using the EHR system.
• Answer calls, triage, and respond to patient inquiries.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Back-office duties: manage supply inventory and assist with follow-up care coordination.
